Residential Restorations · Southeast Pennsylvania

Your home should help you heal.

We restore homes into places that actually give something back — clean air and water, natural light, and the space to recover, without ever leaving home.

Why We Build

Built from conviction, not a catalog.

Five Stones was founded by Brian and Kim Zickefoose — and the conviction behind it was forged long before the company. Brian came home from multiple deployments carrying heavy-metal and environmental exposure that took years to work out of his body. Kim has fought the same fight so many of us face — heavy metals, microplastics, and mold.

As lifelong athletes, they went deep on what it really takes to feel well — not just how you train and eat, but the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the space you spend your life in. What they learned changed how they see every home: the building around you is either helping you recover, or quietly working against it. That is the standard we build to.

The Framework

Systems of a Healthy Home

A healthy home is not one feature — it is a set of systems working together. We assess where yours stands today, then build the upgrades that matter most for how you live.

AIR & MOISTURE

Fresh, filtered air with proper ventilation — plus moisture control that keeps mold out from the start.

WATER

Whole-home filtration and purification, so what comes out of every tap and shower is genuinely clean.

LIGHT

Circadian, tunable lighting and daylight that lift your energy by day and protect your sleep at night.

RECOVERY

Sauna, cold plunge, red-light, and a space to move — the tools to recover without leaving home.

NATURE & MATERIALS

Biophilic touches and non-toxic, low-VOC finishes — natural materials you can live with.

REST

Acoustic calm and bedrooms designed for deep, genuine sleep — the foundation of recovery.

Built on a dry, sound foundation. Every project starts by making the home healthy at the core — moisture control and mold-resistant materials. When active mold is found, we coordinate certified detection and remediation through trusted specialists, then rebuild dry and sound.
The Signature

Recover at home.

Recovery used to mean a membership and a drive across town. We design it into the home — a private space to sweat, cool down, and reset on your own schedule.

Sauna

Traditional and infrared sauna built into your home for daily heat therapy and deep relaxation.

Cold Plunge

A purpose-built cold plunge for recovery, resilience, and a sharper start to the day.

Red-Light Therapy

Red and near-infrared light rooms or panels to support recovery, circulation, and skin health.

Home Gym & Movement

A dedicated space to train and move, designed around how you actually use it.

How We Build

Built to be lived in.

The healthiest features mean little if the house they sit in is working against you. We build the whole home to the same standard.

Standard 01

Healthy Materials

Low-VOC, low-emission, and sustainable materials chosen to protect the people who live here.

Standard 02

Cleaner Air & Water

Filtration and ventilation designed in from the start — not added on as an afterthought.

Standard 03

Craft That Lasts

Built once, built right — quality that holds up for the long life of your home.

Why Five Stones

One team, accountable for all of it.

  • One accountable team. We design it, coordinate the specialists, and build it — so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • A genuine focus on health. Every decision is weighed against how it affects the people living in the home.
  • Local to Southeast Pennsylvania. We are your neighbors, and our name is on the work.
  • Founder-led craft. Brian and Kim are personally invested in every home we touch.
